What to Expect
1. Consultation
Your appointment begins with an assessment of your concerns, facial anatomy, muscle movement and desired result.
This is also your opportunity to tell the doctor exactly what you want — including how much natural movement you would like to retain.
2. Personalised Treatment Design
The doctor determines the appropriate treatment areas, placement, dosage and product
3. Treatment
The injections themselves are generally quick and performed using fine needles at carefully selected points.
4. Follow-Up
Our relationship with you doesn't end when you leave the treatment room.
A doctor follow-up approximately one week after treatment is included.
If the response requires further refinement and Dr. Sawami determines that additional treatment is appropriate within the original treatment plan, we will provide the necessary follow-up care at no additional charge.
When Will I See the Result?
Botulinum toxin does not usually reach its full effect immediately.
You may begin noticing changes within several days, with the result continuing to develop over approximately 1–2 weeks.
This is one reason we prefer to review the result rather than making unnecessary adjustments too early.
Results are temporary and their duration varies depending on the treatment area, product, dose, muscle activity and individual response.
For many aesthetic indications, results commonly last approximately 3–4 months, although some people may experience shorter or longer duration.
Larger-muscle and therapeutic treatments may follow different timelines.
Will I Look Frozen?
Not necessarily — and that isn't automatically our goal.
A “frozen” appearance can result when facial movement is reduced more than the client wants.
At Ponsarin, we discuss the result you prefer before treatment.
If maintaining expression is important to you, the treatment can be planned with that objective in mind.
The best Botox result shouldn't announce itself.
People may notice that you look fresher or more rested — without immediately knowing why.
Before Your Treatment

After Your Botox Treatment
Your doctor will provide personalised aftercare instructions.
Temporary redness, tenderness, swelling or small injection marks may occur around treated areas.
Avoid rubbing or massaging the injected areas unless specifically advised, and follow any activity or treatment restrictions provided by your doctor.
